The Buzz Mill Shore Corps along with Squatch Frontier Fitness and the Lumber Society are hosting their biggest Town Lake Shore Clean to date on Saturday, May 11, 8:45am to noon!
We’ll be attacking the trash from the shore and from the water with a dozen canoes at our disposal!
We’ll have 2-person canoes available for use to get on the water and grab all the trash that can’t be reached from the shore.
This is the work that most needs to be done, and it can be fun doing it.
We’d love to have you cleaning either on the land or the lake, but when you RSVP, please RSVP either “canoe” or “no canoe.”
Also, please take the River Sense quiz to register. We will provide tools and gloves (bring your own if you'd like) but bring a water bottle and wear work-appropriate clothing: long pants, long-sleeved shirt, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, bug spray.
Afterward we’ll head back to JNL Barbecue and Buzz Mill for lunch and a drink on us!
Thanks!
